We are pleased to announce that the Victorian Commission for Children and Young People will be appearing on our panel.
The Commission will be represented by Christine Withers.
Christine is the Manager of Policy, Research and Communications at the Commission for Children and Young People. Christine has extensive experience working for government on a broad range of public policy issues.
The Commission overseas the WWCC, Child Protection and child safe practices. In 2017 in Victoria all Nanny Agencies will be required to undertake Child Safe Training.
The Commission for Children and Young People has been established to promote continuous improvement and innovation in:
- policies and practices relating to the safety and wellbeing of children and young people generally, and in particular those who are vulnerable
- the provision of out of home care services for children.
The Commission acts with independence and impartiality, demonstrating integrity and respect.
