nanny-information

The aim of the Australian Nanny Association is to bring together, support, and represent nannies and other home-based child carers working in Australia. We value the membership of businesses that support our goals for the nanny industry.

Business members of the ANA will be recognised publicly as businesses that support the aims, philosophy, and goals of ANA. They are businesses that regard professional nannies/home-based carers as a quality and legitimate childcare option for Australian families.

How do I become a Business Member of the Australian Nanny Association?

To become a business member of ANA you must:

  • Meet the eligibility criteria outlined below.
  • Complete, sign, and submit the business membership application form.
  • Once approved, pay the applicable annual business membership fee.
Eligibility Criteria
  • Be a business (other than a nanny agency, see notes below) that supports the aims, philosophy and goals of ANA (Appendix 1).
  • Agree to the terms and conditions of membership (Appendix 2).

Please note:

  • Approval is at the discretion of the committee.
  • Various website businesses such as nanny/family matching websites often do not meet the criteria of supporting ANA’s philosophy (in cases where they can be found to contradict ANA’s mission, aims, and/or minimum standards). If this is the case they will not be granted membership approval. This includes, but is not limited to, websites who do not screen and check their nannies/clients or web businesses that allow payments below minimum wage. Website businesses that DO meet the criteria however, are strongly encouraged to apply for membership.

Membership currently unavailable

Please note – right now we are no longer offering Business membership due to low committee numbers.  The ANA is hoping to offer this membership level at the end of 2022.
